OUR FOUNDATION CLAIMS INVESTIGATIONS HAVE INCLUDED THE FOLLOWING:

Structural evaluations for damage caused by: settlement, lateral soil pressure, hydrostatic pressure, vibrations and deterioration. We investigate foundation damage and collapses caused by construction or excavations for adjacent buildings. We also make evaluations to assess construction, water, and moisture problems. Repair design or repair recommendations can be made when needed.

CASE STUDIES

Foundation wall moved inward during construction of a new luxury home. Photo shows installation of temporary bracing to prevent collapse. Design was prepared to provide proper permanent lateral support for foundation wall.

Residential foundation that was approximately one year old collapsed after heavy rainfall. Analysis included structural evaluation of foundation construction and evaluation of soil and storm data.

Vertical crack caused by localized settlement. Footing was undermined when fine silt below it flowed into drain tile and was removed by sump pump.

Crack monitor installed on an existing building foundation to monitor wall movement during foundation excavation for adjacent high-rise structure.
